I have created 2 weapons swap mods. One replaces the T21 rifle with the DC15 rifle. And the other replaces the Scout Blaster with the C-10 pistol. For both of these mods I would like to change the color of the bolt to blue. I assume this is possible, but I don't know how to do it.
In addition I would like to change the sounds.
I am not sure how to change the bolt colors, but for the sounds I extracted the .snd and .wav files from the TRE files, for each weapon. In the case of the DC!% rifle I renamed the wep_rifle_clone_trooper.snd to wep_rifle_T21.snd. I did not rename the wave files. I put the files into the appropriate folders. I did the same for the pistol renaming the SND file from wep_pistol_renegade.snd to wep_pistol_blaster_scout_trooper.snd. I don't know if this is all I have to do to change the weapon sounds, but when I use the weapons in game the sounds are still for the T21 rifle and the Scout Trooper blaster.
Any help I can get is greatly appreciated.
