Adding new mesh with textures

Hi,

I succesfully got a new mesh in the game. But now that it is in the game I don´t know how to add the corresponding new textures into the game. I created a shader file and added the new texture into the texture folder. In the game the texture just doesn´t look right (like stretched or not in place). Can anyone explain me how I can add textures into the game? Where is the information saved how the texture is supposed to be on the model (shader oder mesh file)? I am using 3ds max.

It uses the uv coordinate data in the mesh file. Are you using multiple uv maps or just one?
