I think he meant trn editor instead of a different planetary map.Timbab said:If you're really bored and want to waste a LOAD of time...
Use Uli's free camera mod (never used it, so not even sure if it'll work), go high in the camera and screenshot the whole map, then stitch it together (use some script).
Won't be perfect, but there ain't really another way. Or just ask Syt really nicely for high res screenshots of the maps.
He did post some here though: http://feed38.photobucket.com/albums/e122/Sytner/account.rss
Yeah that is the impression I got too. The best option is to just keep up the patience and support Sytner until he is ready or willing to release something.Uli said:I think he meant trn editor instead of a different planetary map.
This is correct and sry for misunderstand. English is not my primary talk. We are in talk with 2 potential coders to make such building tool (from documents obtained here on forums).Timbab said:Ah, confused it with someone else then, because someone, back in June or something, was looking for a way to make new high res maps of all the planets.
I got more patience then you will ever have (talking from personal exp.), but that is not the issue. The issue is endless re-writing and "talking" (from 2008).Tonberry said:There is none. This sounds like a perfect opportunity to work on your patience.
This comes with the territory. Every coder will inevitably change their ideas as they go along or come up with a more efficient way of doing something which can often mean rebuilding it from the ground up.Metal said:The issue is endless re-writing and "talking" (from 2008).
Oh that is something none of us will ever doubt.Valkyra said:My desperation far surpasses yours mister!
