By default I don't have the acid launcher effects playing, only hearing the incorrect sounds. It looks like your reporter had a mod?

Where is this string being pulled from the command? I believe that this is the actual issue.

Side notes about what I seen/think so far.
*The lightning cannon shares the same 'weaponEffect' as the other heavy weapons. I did change it client side to be it's own with no change to the sound.
*I'm thinking that the command string is mixing up what sound to pull, not the client... But I wouldn't know since I cannot find where the string is being used again.

hmm i don't think the reporter  had a modded client ... Especially since it's still bugged for me on TCNova (and i always use a pure client) .

And yes, imo  problem is with  the  animation string (as i mention in my bottom note within the  linked Report)  but...

...unfortunately that old  list  is  borked link.

Plus, i don't know of any easy method  to  insert  trial & error  each potential  string  to test/watch them in-game, aside from  editing the command LUA and restarting server  over and over and over. (which btw, i already tried and literally went insane doing so)
