I am trying to find a way to mod the camera angle to over the shoulder type view found in the live game. I can't seem to make any heads or tails of where this might be located, and if anyone has worked on anything like this before. Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey makog and welcome to MtG.

The Camera file is located in the "camera" folder and called "freechasecamera.iff", you might want to use TRE Explorer to open either TRE files or directly the first TOC file from the SWG live install.

I have tried several times to get the Camera angle to over the right shoulder with no luck, by using the SWG live camera file as a template and by hex editing, all I managed to do was moving the camera up and down, so basically your cursor would be either on the back/feet of your character or way over his or her head, never managed to move the camera left and right.

There might be more to it than just hex editing values to make it work, perhaps the SWGEmu client wasn't coded for this I don't know, Uli will probably know more as he often messes with the client.

Thanks, I will see if I can find something that will work while we are waiting on Uli to see this thread ;)
