Hello all, I'm new and stumbled upon this site in my attempts to do the following. I had the idea to create some type of Chef food granting a bonus to DNA Harvesting for BE's. Just wondering if this is the right place to be, downloaded Synter's IFF Editor and will be digging around with that momentarily. Also already found the .TRE from the actual game files pertaining to the food already there.

Sounds like that's doable, but not sure i know without looking. I'd suggest to see how the bonus system works for the other foods and adapting to suit.
You may want to hop on to the MTG irc or #swgemuservers as somebody there may be able to help.
It's a little quite, but folks will answer eventually so be patient.
Good luck and think about sharing your results on the Releases page if your successful (or at least your notes on how you did it).

Client is only for visual stuff. (aka tre files). I'm pretty sure food bonus are handled via LUA. I haven't done this in a long time, but i'm pretty sure i'm correct.xuichichi said:Awesome, thank you for answering. Does that mean it isn't possible for me to create an item that could be used in game then? I know the server I'm on at the moment integrated a good bit of things from the CU and NGE so I hoped maybe it'd be along the same lines.

It is possible. You have to look how the luas are done so that you can see how bonus are applied, etc.
