Hey all, I am brand new here...be gentle. I came over from SWGemu when it was suggested that I might find better support here.
I recently set up my second server from scratch. I had a server way back when SWGemu was just a baby, and much has changed. I had a lot of hands-on support too.
As of today, it seems I have a stable setup and it is more for nostalgia and experimentation than anything. But I have some oddities going on that I am unsure how to proceed. I have leveraged the forums over there and quickly browsed here as well. Google, Reddit and even ChatGPT (surprisingly insightful), but I cannot solve all of the issues. So I figured I would list some things out that are immediate questions or blockers and see if I could get some insight here.
Firstly, what is god mode? Once my admin/primary account is level 15 and I create a character, they are automatically in god mode. I know how to turn it off but there was no discernible difference between it being on or off as far as I could see.
Then, when I was running through the active/available commands, the list abruptly stopped (command line) in the middle of the A's, indicating a possible break.
To further substantiate the previous claim, MOST game commands do not work. An example is any type of attack. While the action button for the attack works, the /command in chat states that the command does not exist, even though the lua exists.
In addition, aside from being able to turn off god mode, no other admin command seems valid either.
I have found a series of fixes out there via Google and such, made cfg file adjustments and all that. But nothing seems to work.
Lastly, blue frogs, is there a way to turn those off? I don't want the few players on the server to leverage those...
