Saddle hardpoint

[attachment=63][ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]What sets the Saddle hardpoint on creatures? im having a problem with my Saddle being stuck in the ground.

Has anyone had any luck with moving the position of the saddle? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I tired a few things in the mesh files adding in HPTS with saddle values. But saddle still shows under the creatures feet. Lol.  Any one have any ideas?

Hey Lasko,

I sent ya a PM, but will post it here also....

So, I have included a link with what I have done to make pets mountable. I also included a comparison of a mount vs. a non-mountable pet.  One thing I did find was after you create your .tre file, before you start the sever, delete the clientObjects.db.  When I did not, I had the saddle at the mounts feet.  Although I have found some mounts still have this issue. Not many, but few.  Also, the murra blanca mount has a funny effect

Nice! I have been looking into this for my Nerf and Tauntaun... but I think they're both rigged client site already and I'm just missing something server-side...
 
Since people are doing all these mounts, can I request some mouse droid skates please? :heart:

I know this is a dated thread, but as I was reading a funny thought crossed my mind. Not sure if it's possible, but make NPC's such as Night Sisters tamable, and then saddle them up. I think it would be hilarious riding into town getting a piggy back ride from a Night Sister. Probably not possible, but it would be awesome.

NPCs are handled a bit differently on the server-side than creatures. They can't, for example, be spawned as babies.
 
I am working on the same thing, came by this post, deleted the db file, did not make a difference.

Anything else? same thing with rancor, mount is at my feet
