SWG Races Retexture

I am thinking about doing a complete hi def retexture for all the species and maybe after that go to armors. Would anyone be interested in doing a project like this that has time? Also if anyone has any texture pictures for reference to scales and fur that would be a great help also.

Normally I'd say yes, but I'm not so great with organic texturing, other than terrain and flora. Interested to see how this turns out though.

i attempted something like this back when SWG was doing a bit better(not being shuttdown lol)

added Bumps, and stuff to emulate the skin texture.

I never bothered finishing it, but it looks better ingame then a picture.

A cool project that we all want to work on but never actually start lol.
Always interesting, but now I wonder if it's actually worth it while we wait for more advanced tools to import models into the game.

Go ahead though, I want to see it.

Thanks guys it will be a slow process of course with college and work but hopefully I'll have a one or two semi done in the next week or two to show some progress. Wow Wefi that looks great man, too bad it was never finished would have been awesome!

It's dead, Ton lost most if not all his work too over the years.
