I did not create this mod, but I wanted to share results. This mod is for RESHADE by Marty Mcfly which uses depth buffer to Ray Trace Global illumination in screen space. As of right now its in Alpha stage and only available to his patreon supporters, once it exits beta stage it should be available for everyone. Its not very playable on SWG because Reshade disables depth buffer when it detects network activity, so you get flickering every 5-10 seconds, I seen old version of Reshade where this was fixed, so I hope someone will do that in the future. But for single player games it works great for most part.

Hello. You're confusing SWG Pre-CU with NGE. ModTheGalaxy.com doesn't support NGE versions.

This mod works with any game which provides depth buffer, version of SWG does not matter, I am aware threes a split in the community. Here is video of this mod on gta5, which shows what it does better than my screens.

From what I understand, Pre-cu and NGE has the same engine/graphics, does it not? So other than UI and Kashyyyk it should look the same in comparison to this version.

Not really. NGE shaders on a Pre-CU client shows a pretty ugly and annoying effect which you are able to avoid disabling "bloom" option in game but then you'll miss image quality. Btw, it's an interesting option to test.

I'm using an old version of Reshade with the network check removed, and haven't been able to find a newer version that would support RT. However, I noticed that even with the old version, if I have anything 3D in my toolbar, or if I open the inventory, it will disable effects like MXAO; does this happen with the newer Reshade?

From what I know, the game itself disables depth buffer anytime there a 3d model in a toolbar, in other words all versions of Reshade will have that problem. Also, where can I find the version of reshade with network check disabled? I am fine even if its old version.

Would you mind sharing your settings? I can't seem to get light to reflect or the MXAO to look nearly as good as yours.
