Works as a General and General Modding topic, MtG has been pretty silent the past weeks.

Me, I'm still struggling with my new home, trying to remember where I put those damned medications, huge migraine has been following me for days now.
Managed to recover 10GB on my poor overloaded hard drive, it's almost impossible to sort my hundreds of SWGEmu files though.

So, what is everyone up to? It doesn't have to be related to SWGEmu and MtG.

Well I've got my last exam on the 23d so I should probably say I've been studying. I haven't... and probably won't. I've already failed it once already and if I do so again it doesnt have an impact on the scores I need, so why bother y'know? :p In all serious I just want it to be out of the way.

After that I'm pretty much free to do do whatever for quite a while. Since I'm done working 'officially' for swgemu it should give me more time to continue documenting areas which I actually enjoy and have dozens of potential uses for me. Later on in September I'll be starting a web development course which I must say I'm looking forward to. Just the thought of having tutors and lecturers who I can say in all honesty I've actually learnt from, unlike the previous computer noobs who really need to appreciate that they get a teachers wages for essentially making us read a computer manual and business textbook lol... Okay I'm done ranting, I promise. :p

So yeah.. Lots of time off then an exciting new education, so good times. :) Oh and an ex-girlfriend called me the other day, that wasn't so exciting, a little scary actually. :p

@Uli, whatever sounds good. :p

@Tonberry, "Since I'm done working 'officially' for swgemu", sounds like the sh*t has hit the fan once again. SWGEmu has a way to get rid of its valuable members lol.
I'm sure they'll recruit a dozen more Moderators to cope for the loss. Until SWGEmu becomes a no Dev party banter.

Couldn't have put it better myself. I asked for my forum permissions removed and instead they corrected my title to client dev, after it being wrong for months. >.<

I am still working, just not under swgemu.com wink wink =)

Client Dev sounds better anyway. :D
At least as an official CDev you have more freedom, you can lurk around and create content for those who actually want to listen to you. *cough*

What are those forum permissions you're talking about? Stuff like moderating permissions as a Dev etc.

Doesn't matter for which side you work as long as you're still working. :p

I was on IRC yesterday, you weren't.
So YOU have to get on IRC more.

But I'm tired and it's already late, I don't want login and then fall asleep on my keyboard, I'll try and get on earlier tomorrow.
Say Hi for me.

I just recently graduated highschool and am sitting at home bored watching anime and trying to do some oddjobs so I can get some money to buy new parts and games.

I'm not sure if I should even be posting on this thread as I haven't been here as long as everyone else...

Was a thread open for anyone so yeah you have full rights to post here :D
It's always good to know whats happening with individuals in the community.

For example, I know now that you have loads of free time. I can now say go learn how to mod lol

I know how to mod. I've done it several times for a couple games. I've made AI, weapon, shader, biped and vehicle mods for Halo Custom Edition. I've made faction, ship, weapon and research tree mods for Homeworld 2. And I've made a first-person ragdoll mod for Half-Life 2 DM (But since I don't know C++ yet I used a cut-paste tutorial >_>).

So I know how to mod, I'm just not familiar with how the SWG Engine works and behaves with resources and content files.

This thread is for everyone MechWarrior001, don't feel left out as we're a family here. :D
Also, if you already know how to mod you better get to work!
MtG needs more fancy mods, no matter what they are. (minus sploitz for course)

I already know how to mod, I just don't know how to mod SWG. Like I said, I don't know how this engine works yet. I'm not familiar with the file types and how the engine deals with them. It will be a bit before I can make mods, as I have to familiarize myself with the engine. I had to do it with Halo, and I had to do it with Homeworld 2. Sorry if I let you down.
