As part of my .MGN suite I, I'm going to need to look into the shaders at some point. If I remember correctly, they're basically compiled HLSL shaders. Theoretically, this means we can write new shaders for whatever we need, including maybe a fuzzy hair shader. Unfortunately, if we go by the launcher options, we're sitting at PS/VS 2.0... which has potentially restrictive limits. Honestly, I'm more familiar with GLSL, so I'm not really sure what is and isn't possible here, but complex fur and hair may be definitely possible.
