Hey guys!
So I recently picked up playing on Star Wars Galaxies Legends (NGE restoration server) and I decided hey, I want to edit or change some sounds in the game.
My first attempt was to change the tie fighter gun sounds, or cbt_gun_tie.snd. I made sure this was in the correct file extension, which is basically just in the sound folder. I launch the game and it loads just fine.
However, when I move to space, the game crashes before I can even load in. I know it's not the server/game itself because I've yet to experience a single bug while playing Jump to Lightspeed.
My question is, is it not as simple and converting a file to .snd? Or does it have to have certain settings that I'm not aware of? Thanks for the help guys!
