Base Human mod extraction?

Hey,

Was trying to extract the basic human 3d model from the tre files. Anyone even done this? I have an old version of unwrap, and object creator has no idea what to do with the mesh file.

For your own use, or to use it in game?

Can't modify .mgn (skeleton based mesh) as far as I know, only static stuff for game related purposes, look here at the importer/exporter for 3ds max: http://www.modthegalaxy.com/forums/thread-tool-3ds-max-import-export-scripts

Otherwise, no idea, never tried, sorry. :(

All good, that program they talk about Unwrap 3d allegedly would let you convert the mgn to a format that could be imported into blender. It's like 60 bucks, too much for tinkering though haha. I'll check out the plug in.
