Exported MSH doesn't render properly in-game

So I tried my hand at MSH editing and the modified MSH turns up all black in-game, only being illuminated by the player light and very poorly at that.

I didn't modify any SHTs, but I did modify the smoothing groups so perhaps that could be a part of it?

Perhaps the UV mapping wasn't properly exported? Is it the texture itself not working? Perhaps you could alter the texture ( solid color or grid perhaps) and see if there is a change in the objects ingame appearance. Haven't messed with this export tool but I had issues with my rudimentary tool of this sort.

No the UV mapping is fine, and the textures themselves are still being rendered fine. The problem is there is this abnormal blackness that gets layed on top of the the mesh and it's ignoring any lighting (excluding the personal player light) as if there was no light being cast on it.

Make sure the shader name is the correct sht file. Also make sure Create SHT is unchecked. If the issue is still happening, just send me the files so I can take a look at what is happening.
