I've been noticing a lot of mods going missing. Dead links, nonn-maintained stuff etc. Modsources archives gone... that's all beside the point.

I'm here to offer hosting for any mod ever made.

The catch? None. I will make a page within my own site that features the mod and links to it. No catch what-so-ever. It will link back to your post give you credit and so on.

Why? I'm so tired of not finding a mod where it used to be, being slammed by advertising from places like sendspace, or script kiddies trying to phish my browser. That's about it.

Anyhow, if you need hosting, or think an existing mod on a crappy hosting service can be mirrored, for the love of jawas please let me know....

All of our staff is currently working hard to prepare revisions to our operational policies here at MTG. This includes updating all of our web software, adding a Wiki, and creating additional procedures and guidelines to ensure the Modding community and the upcoming changes (known as "ModTheGalaxy 2.0") will be the best it can be and improve upon current flaws. This includes the hosting of modifications and the creation of a Modifications Archive as well as hosting Modifications on the ModTheGalaxy GitHub. We haven't announced a lot of the changes or the many plans we have in store to come within the next few months. But rest assured change is coming and it will improve a lot of what members currently dislike about our website and community. We're excited to work on these changes and can't wait to share more information really soon! Thanks for sharing your feedback.

Just to add to what Viaron says....

If you have any mods for inclusion, PM me with a link and any credits for the work if available and i'll add them to our repo. It's another area we know needs looking at and we'd like to have as much as we can all in one place.

Hi folks, I just wanted to say, thank you soo much for this site, help, insight and examples!

I am an 'ol dog learning new tricks so to speak and hope to get my DEV setup and use some of these examples and info to get me up to speed. My goal then will be to find something I can contribute here or at least submit to the server I play on for use.
