Reintroducing Taanab

So I was looking through the TREs and I found a terrain entry for Tanaab.

Has anyone managed to setup a server and have the client load the planet successfully?

Sytner has done it, I'm pretty sure, I think Valkyra did it too.

Yeah a few have done it now, you can wonder around the terrain but it was left incomplete by SOE so its not that pretty of a sight. There are other terrain files they made to test things which are still in the client, Taanab isn't far off looking like one of those either.

I've done this Pre-OR, I think you can do it with the current SWGEmu latest revs...

If you want to fix the sky, you have 2 options:

Change the name of the ENV form in the TRN to the one that matches the one in the environment datatables

or vice versa...

Otherwise sky will be pink... Sytner has a prettier fixed up sky gradient texture than the default one, maybe he can post it.

Would any be willing to share their Taanab files with the community?
Perhaps post them in the Beta folder?

Deliberately did not upload and Taanab files because of this guide. No one would read the guide and learn how to do it!!

If you know how to load all the Taanab files onto a new server, then you should be able to follow the guide and make your own in about half an hour or so.
