I was curious as to the exact reason why the Seeker Droid had a bugged out texture, and has had that texture since the dawn of Star Wars Galaxies. It turns out, instead of having the correct texture applied, the Seeker had the texture for the Probot Probe Droid instead. Clearly an oversight by someone managing texture assignments.
While the game doesn't have a full scale texture for the seeker droid still in the files (and I did not bother to search the beta TRE files), it does still have the texture for the droid. All I've done is assign the mesh the correct texture, restoring its correct appearance, as based on Darth Maul's Probe Droids from Episode I.
INSTALLATION:
Drag and drop the Appearance folder into your SWGEmu base folder. This is the folder that contains your SWGEmu.exe.
