Spot on. I have another request. Would it be possible to make it look like my character is holding twin pistol's and for them to shoot in turn? I use scatter pistol but have a mod installed that makes it look like another pistol. I don't no what and cant find the mod i installed but think it would look really cool if i had twins

Don't think so, you'd need new animations for that and I think a way to bind 2 weapons at once, which was never in the game.

:(

Might be possible with manual skeleton adjustment, but I doubt it. I'll ask Uli about it.

Gotta wait for Sytner to release his tools.

I have a mod request. I don't imagine it'd be difficult to do with the right tools and skills - which I lack.

Basically a model/texture replacement for the T21 with the BWDL19 (http://swg.wikia.com/wiki/Rifle), which is effectively the DLT-19 blaster rifle (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/DLT-1..._blaster_rifle) from ANH, based on an MG34 machinegun.

It's an iconic blaster rifle, arguably even more so than the T21 (which is typically classified a light repeating blaster rather than a blaster rifle suitable for sniping).

From what I can glean, the model was introduced into SWG after the NGE in Update 14 (http://swg.wikia.com/wiki/Game_Update_14) and the Death Troopers event. That means there exists a model and textures in the correct format (I think), so I assume it would be relatively trivial to do a client-side swap for the T21 model.

Can anyone help a rifleman out?

Have been looking into this, the rifle you are looking for is in the NGE tre's and is called rifle_deathtroopers.iff. BWDL19 or Black Wing DL19.
Now while I have not got time atm to actually create the mod, there are guides here to do so and should not present too much of a problem, if I get time i'll make one but it wont be for a little while.

Yeah that should be fairly easy, I'll slap it together later tonight.

You guys are champions. I had a fiddle with TRE Explorer myself and found the file, but wasn't able to get it to work in game. Looking forward to toting my DLT-19!

Here, this should do it. I didn't test it in game, tell if there are any oddities, there shouldn't, but might have screwed up somewhere.

Problem is sound and weapon effect, I can edit the weapon.iff and give it the unique effects but that'll break compatibility with mods like the NGE Weapon Effect mod, let me know if you want that.

Just tried it out, and sadly it crashes the game at Loading Objects. If I remove the effect file, the game loads, but the rifle is invisible. Any idea what the problem might be?

Hm! How odd.

It's working for me, but here, I attached missing pixel shader's just in case, this should work.

Genius. Working perfectly! I did notice that with bloom on the gun has a fairly distinct glow around it, but with bloom off it looks spot on.

Although it seems SOE scaled down the model from the MG34 prop. Probably so it has similar dimensions to other in-game rifles. But still looks terrific.

I've attached a shader overwrite, it might fix the bloom issue, not sure, give it a try.

I've also attached optional files if you want the NGE sounds and visual effect (I sorta did the visual effect myself for a different mod), but you'll need to use the weapon.iff that I've attached, which breaks the NGE Weapon Effects mod. If you're using it, use the datatables folder inside the '!NGE Weapon Effects Overwrite' folder. It'll also overwrite your object folder .iff, so if you want to go back to default effects, use the one from the other .zip.

Bloom fixed! However, and dunno where this came from, but now my Composite armour looks like RIS. Could anything this mod have done that?

Ah crap, sorry, seems I have accidentally included the .lmg files for the other mod in the main zip. Just go to your 'appearance' folder, then 'mesh' and delete the "armor_composite_s01_ .lmg" files.

Updated the original .zip, too.

Hey, no problem! You basically put any folder that isn't the mod name into your SWGEmu (or the SWG directory you use for an emulator) directory.

For example; The T21 - DLT-19 mod .zip has a T21 - DLT-19 folder inside of it, you open that and you'll see:

appearance
effect
object
pixel_program
shader
string
texture

So you place all of those folders inside your SWG directory, so if you'd go into the effect folder then, it would look something like: SWGEMU/effect/

Be sure to download the full mods and not just the fixes, by the way.
