What ties the Jedi Padawan to the Jedi Rank 02 file?

I've searched inside the skills.iff / database and server for the "jedi_padawan_novice" and the "force_title_jedi_rank_02" and cannot figure out what is tying them together?
Even if I try and force learn the "jedi_padawan_novice" skill it doesn't show up unless I also have the "force_title_jedi_rank_02" skill, why is that and can I unlink them?

The reason why is because I completely revamped the Jedi system to my liking (almost done) to having 8 tree's to master along with the Jedi Trials working! It wasn't easy and took a lot of work / time to get all the strings / skills right. However, I want to be able to start the Jedi while doing the trials instead of having to do the trials to get the Jedi, without having to actually take out the title(s) or change to a different one, if that makes sense. I have everything working flawlessly except being able to untie these 2 from one another.

Thanks all in advance if you know how to fix this!

EDIT I do not have anything linking them together inside the skills.iff file. No skills required / preclusion / etc. I can only find them listed in the Jedi files / trials / etc inside the server, but I don't see where they're linked together.

The jedi_padawan_novice skill is very likely a remnant of the old Jedi system before Publish 9. The title rank skill came with Publish 9 and the new Jedi system. The old Jedi skills are still inside the skills datatable, but they're set to hidden and won't show up in the game if granted. If you have no interest in reviving the first iteration of Jedi in SWG, then jedi_padawan_novice means nothing to what you're trying to accomplish.

Ok, I don't think I explained it well considering your replies. I do NOT want the NEW system. I rebuilt the old system and that is what I want. So, I want the jedi_padawan_novice, but not attached to the titles at all. Because it seems to screw everything else up. If you had jediState 2+ then you cannot do the trials (yes I know they're new) and ever have a chance at opening the FSCS (if this still exists). Most information that I find is wrote back in 2007-2014 and is out of date considering the SWGEmu team (players, etc) has altered and added and taken out so much that everything is outdated and trying to find information that actually works with the version today is next to impossible.

I created my Jedi system to use the old and new (somewhat) without the village. So, I bypass the village and use the Hologrind system to start the Jedi. Then you go strait to the Trials and finish it to have the Jedi Padawan. Works flawless like this, however I made this because I wanted to actually be the full Jedi Padawan (like it was in beta / launch) to get the FSCS opened. It seems I have no choice but to keep the Trials to open the FSCS , at least this is the information that I find so not even sure if that works or not.

I tried to search for FSCS and Force Sensitive Character Slot and force_sensitive_character_slot with only seeing the strings that announce you've opened it, but not the actual files indicating how it triggers to open. I'd love to find that so that I can maybe rewrite it to open with the Hologrind like it did at launch.

To be honest, I've only done about 3 missions in the village, so I haven't experienced it. However, from what I've read it's set up to take months and screw that! Perhaps if I can just alter the time (which I believe I can because I found where that is) then maybe I'll rewrite my entire system to use both fully.
