the textures are all client side (on your PC) there will be no impact in server side lagg due to this feature as it all comes down to your own PC's spesification, so 30 ppl close together using this upgrade wont affect your enjoyment of the game.Lexx2k said:Looks real cool, only problem is... No, not all texture will be replaced. Pretty much all planetary textures will be replaced, along with cities and other architecture. I have also done some work on the textures for various races. There will be other textures updated rather than just world based textures, but I will not be retexturing every item in the game.
