I. MODIFICATION OVERVIEW


This modification will update the PreCU's species look and design with the NGE (Patch 32)
models, shaders and higher quality textures.

This modification will update the following species:

- Human (male and female)
- Twi'lek (male and female)
- Zabrak (male and female)


V1.1
- Fixed a small bug which caused the players to retain their standing position while riding a vehicle and holding a weapon at the same time. (Kazuya)

II. INSTALLATION

Install the modification by using the provided installer and point it to your SWG Emulator directory.

Works with SWGEmu and SWG:ANH.
Will work with any other SWG Emulator.

III. UNINSTALLATION

Double click on the "Uninstall SWGEmu Species Revamp" link in your SWG Emulator directory to uninstall the modification.
(it will uninstall the whole mod)

IV. KNOWN ISSUES

There are currently no known issues with this mod.
Feel free to report to the thread you got the mod from for any problem you encounter.

DO NOT contact them for support of any kind related to this modification, as no support will be given to you.

Feel free to PM me if you find any bugs related to the interface,
if you're not sure the SWGEmu Species Revamp Mod is the cause of your problems uninstall the Mod first and verify if the bug(s) is/are still present.

Oh thanks Kaigeos!
I agree for the installer, every big mod should get one.
Also, my installers do not write any fancy link and such into the registry, I keep it simple, the Uninstaller shows up where you install the modification, in this case inside your SWGEmu directory, and that's it. So it doesn't fill your start menu etc with unneeded links.

If you're asking about making an installer to install TRE's files then yes it would work like any other type of file.

If I understand what you mean.

Hey we can go even further by adding new textures etc, it's a big tricky but it could work.
I had started some work with eyes and teeth and it looked really great.

That would be great, something worth waiting for to. I'm sure most of us that play, have the higher end computers that would go just great with a new face lift for SWG.

Yeah my point exactly.
I'll try to dig my old files (if I find them), and take a look probably tomorrow.

Yeah that was the idea.
It would still look like blocks at the end because the models, and the whole engine even doesn't support realistic hair etc, but we can improve the textures at least.
