We are pleased to announce the opening of the Mod The Galaxy Core3 Community Content Repository.

It aims to be a fully-compatible open source Core3 server repository that not only maintains the Pre-CU philosophy but also opens up the possibility for the community to develop and test new community produced custom content that is currently beyond the scope of the current SWGEmu goal of patch 14.1. Things such as, CU and NGE content, server customizable options and also new content such as planets, screenplays, missions, quests, ideas; in fact anything new to the SWG Universe.

We would like to encourage the involvement of the SWG community to participate and submit work for inclusion in this repository (both CU/NGE porting and new content), with a view to it being freely available for use by the growing number of public servers should they so choose. As these servers come, and in some cases, unfortunately go, we hope not to lose any knowledge or techniques that can help the progress of the SWG universe. If any do use it, we just ask that credit is given to the originator on your severs website.

The current plan is to bring in all of the CU and NGE content and to continue looking at what is possible as more tools are developed. We hope to have more in-depth guides available for everyone and have them presented in a more structured way, and again encourage people to submit guides or just notes for inclusion in that section. There is a small wiki with the repo, but that is not seen as the long term solution for the guides and information.

A big thank you to Erusman for the use of his SWGEmu VM, which is currently being modified.

The latest set of consolidated tre files are located here.

Everyone is welcome to submit work for inclusion via the MTG website here. Once tested it will be pushed to the server.

This repository will be kept updated from the SWGEmu repo as often as is possible, and is meant as a development server only and no support will be offered for any other reason.

This constitutes the bulk of the useable NGE assets.

Having some trouble running the VM. I notice it starts with a getstarted fresh script. But, I get an error on like the second part when it asks to copy over your .TRE files. home/swgemu/workspace/tre I have placed the MTG newly complied .TRE and even tried the old ones bottom.tre etc. I still get the error that it could not find the .tre files. in the script.

Fixed the tre error in the script. Should still work even though it throws an error.

Uploading a fixed VM Image now:)

I got the VM downloaded, the startup script worked fine, compiled fine.  but while it was compileing I did some browsing of the scripting files and I couldn't find anything pointing to the new post-14.1 stuff?  Specifically, I was looking to see how you implemented all the additional houses...  

I feel the modding itch returning,  but I"m not back into it yet...

Sorry for the delay in replying here:)

The consolidated tre files are all the 14.1 assets plus everything added so far......So..

What's been added so far. List on front page of wiki. Wiki mostly in note form atm.

Next up is the rest of the worldbuilding assets, which is what I'm working on atm (amongst other things).

For new stuff each of the main loot, screenplay, object and mobile folders has a custom_content folder which I added to keep new stuff completely separate from the stock code.

I have setup a server based on this repo with client mods using modified SWGEmu launchpad. I will keep it updated with the repo and keep adding suitable client side mods. Hi Hasan:)

Great to hear your using the MTG repo, let me know if you run into any problems.

Hopefully it'll be a little more active soon as RL had kinda taken over so everything was a little slower than usual.

If you have any requst's or ideas post them here or PM me and we'll see what we can do.

Also, if you add anything new, consider releasing it here for others to share.

Thank you Lasko. The changes I made are only on the client side mods. I use the mods that are released here and SWGEmu forum. The mods used listed on my thread. I convert them to .tre files. Now I added the source code for the launcher and the direct links to the .tre files there.

I dont know if this is asked here or not. Its related your vesion, im using :)

The think is i add blistmok , tulrus and tanray to a new planet i made. How can i put those animals on C.H list to give the permsission to tame? i search in every tree and i can't find :/ i see BE pets in crafting groups inside schematics_group but not the tamed by C.H.....


PD: also skeleton from blistmok, tanray, tulrus, sherkar has some problems , is it normal? it throw an error saying some derv lua problems.

I'm guessing you havent added those skeleton files to your server as they are working on the MTG one.

The commit for those files can be found HERE so you can pull them for your server.

As for adding these to CH, you would need to study how other animals are added and create/modify the files to suit. It is possible, but I have not tried that.

im using last update and fixes the skeleton thing, but when i try to tame a tulrus,blistmok,sherkar the baby freeze's and dont happen anything. On the server screen appears this.

Im not using your VM image but i think its not relevant here n? i just download mtgserver and upload the folder. Also i try to download your image and try and link is down, is there any place to download that image, to try if is that the problem :)

I dont know what is happening xd also, some armors dont show, and draft schematics none appear :/ its like some things are corrupt or something xd (my vm image?) what i do and probably why i had the skeleton error, is just add custom folders to a swgemu clean server, there works all, all except the tame problem shown above its like is missing something...pet deed? some lua scripts? i dont know really xd

Just tried the link again and it DL's fine for me.

If your happy the creatures have been added ok then I would start looking at how that system is implemented copy for the new creatures.

As for the other things not showing, i would guess they have not all been added correctly as again they all work on the MTG server.

Might be better to start a new thread about this as it's not really relevant to the MTG server

Let me explain, im using a full copy of MTG server if i use that full clean downloaded copy of MTG unaltered... the server nothing works at all...

The VM image its not there , the link is down.

If i want to make something work i need to do what i say about swgemu copy and paste and adding the new things manually... so yes i think its related to MTG server atleast without the original VM image....this is why i want to try the vm image, because can be the problem :)

PD2: I donwloaded VM clean from mtgserver, i dont do nothing , just following the steps (getstarted) compile/run server , draftschematics none appear. ( im not talking about new add's...new add's works... im talking about if i make a chef, i cant craft anything.) so i asume its happening what i told you from the first post... armors dont work also like i said the first time i wrote here... dont worry if you dont want to see what is happening im just informing you that some things doesn't work, atleast here. Ill back to my working image, thnx for adding new things i can play with. Ill figure out some day how fix that. Im not posting anymore its like im trying to help but not in the right way. Thnx for the help.

Sorry for any confusion here:) I think I'm now up to speed with all the things you are saying.

First, I've now fixed the link on page one so that should be ok now (thanks for pointing that out).

I Have also fixed the armour from the frog and am now working to fix Chef.

Your first post contains error messages from the vagrant server set up by Lordkator which is why I thought you was using that.

Thanks for pointing out those errors, and keep posting if you find more please:)

I have a problem trying to explain what i want to say xd im spanish, and im not very well explaining on english ( i understand all, if i read but if i try to explain i make a lot of mistakes xd this is why when at some point i see im confusing people xD i leave like here XD ( , its not the first time, some things i try to explain, finish as other things xd because of my bad explanation xd )

Schematics for some reason doesn't appear but all of all professions, i solved this just --[[]] the schematics.lua only custom_content and then all work ( except obviusly the custom content schems because are --[[]]. )

If armors are ok nice then ill try and ill say if is ok :)

And all of this, bring me the point, that tamed new pets are not ok for some errors like i say above ( armors and schems). Now i know you not implemented the new pets to be tamed, and now i know the errors are not related to the new pets. So i will try to do seeing how is the others pets implemented xd the thing is i can tame Krayt's what that pets dont have anything, just only the same lua scripts have blistmok,sherkar, etc... and krayts dont trhow errors...it can be some related things to the NGE patch? ( i dont know what im talking about xd but i think that since i try to add diner ingame and i see some 0010 to 0007 due NGE things xd )

I hope now im explained better


And yes, first time im using the lordkator because i don't see the image of MTG, since i found the link on the git hub ( my error to not see before all the web xd ) i try and i see the same errors i had on the lordkator version so i asume something was wrong :)

Also other thing , you added mtg_worldbuilder14 , and in mega.nz config.lua its not added, i dont know if is intended that.

Well your English is much better than my Spanish so congrats on that:)

Good to have you here and anything you can do to help with the pets would be very much appreciated:)

The Diner and Barn (I think), were not added as the guy who added the rest of the NGE housing (Duffstone), was having real trouble with those two. There may be more documentation on those two elsewhere on the forums as I remember he was posting quite a bit as he was working it all out. I haven't worked on them so am not sure what the problem was. Good luck if you can fix them.

The worldbuilder tre is something i'm working on now so has not been added to the server yet, except in the worldbuilding branch of the MTG server. It's not far off finished so hopefully will be added to the master soon(tm). That may not be the final version of the tre file as it's still being scripted and tested, but hopefully it's looking ok at the moment.

Nice now armor it's working and craft system, i saw you just dont add the new schems or atleast i dont see when i track what you've done.

The pets i dont know if i will make it work since i have no idea of coding xD just see what it's done and try + errors xd since i always fail to add new crc im not sure if it will work some day xd but ill try :) using some other's tamable pets as base xd
