Don't worry about it.

Typing with one hand atm, burned my left hand with boiling water earlier, pain is insane though my fingers haven't changed, just a bit red.
No modding for me, no gaming, QQ.

It hurts like hell UGH.

Aren't we all? :p
I healed anyway, had to put my left hand in cold water for hours and hours, then repetitive topical ointment, and now it's fine.
Lucky me, it could've been a second degree burn but it didn't spread.

Update - Currently working on:

• New environmental maps for all planets & alternate environments.
• Enhanced planetary lighting & colouring.
• Beginning overhaul of Naboo.

In addition, the overall goal of new environmental particle effects has also been added to the project features list.

New colors!
Refreshing change for Naboo.

I'm experimenting on clouds at the moment, high resolution at 2048x2048, I'll probably go back to 1024x1024 so the files aren't too big, but it's just testing.

Fluffy. :D

That naboo sky actually has improved cloud tiles too, I messed up the alphas a bit though. Even though I don't like things to look too photographic, I must say that's some good work Kay, very impressed. :)

I know, I'm always for the realism, but then again that depends how it's rendered.
A mix between realism and fantasy is perfect for a Star Wars game, and to be honest it looks even better at night AND when the clouds actually move, I could fraps a video sometime and upload to Youtube to show you, been a while since I recorded anything and my new computer demands it. :D

It was fun messing with the environment settings, making the clouds move 10x faster than usual looked like a timelapse of Tatooine.

I'll see if Fraps wants to work correctly this time. :p

EDIT: There.

It's short and Youtube quality seems a bit off compared to the original video but it's still decent, watch in 1080p full screen of course.

Forgot to add that I only changed the top clouds, I made the bottom clouds invisible for the moment so they're not in the way.
I will probably make the bottom clouds smaller and thinner and rework on the top clouds to make sure the sky isn't always too clouded.

Also I upped the clouds size by 20% at least, so the cloud tile looks more natural.
Unlike the ground textures, still haven't found a way to make them bigger. <_<

Very nice indeed. Still a bit too photographic for me but definitely better than the default. ;)

As for scaling up ground textures.. Don't bother looking, I don't think its possible. I'm certain I found where that data is and changing it doesn't have any affect. A conversation with Synter confirmed that, or at least he doesn't believe its possible either.

Well to be honest I'm aware of the too photographic feeling, and I've tried other designs, but it never felt good enough.
If I'm going to enhance what I can, I'm going for the "realistic" design, without going too far especially for the ground textures or it won't look good.

I tried again yesterday messing with the terrain file where the ground textures are displayed, still no luck, it's strange.
The only thing I managed to do was make the textures disappear and use the default texture lol.
I remember Sytner saying it was in the terrain files and was possible, perhaps he never tried himself and wasn't sure I don't know.
It sucks when you know that you can enlarge the clouds easily.

Synter knows where the size trigger is as well, but it doesn't matter what value you give it, it still displays the same. I'm drawing the line on that now, quite certain it isn't possible. Might be a limitation of the format.

Unfortunately not. I've got a lot of other more entrepreneurial projects on the go at the moment, so not had a chance to get back into it recently.

Very promising mod, and something that should have been done years ago. I'm glad you stuck with the Dantooine colours and can't wait to see more.
